Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pine2Py (the "Service"), operated by Ray ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Pine2Py converts TradingView Pine Script (v5 and v6) source code into Python source code. Conversions run on our servers; the generated Python is intended to run against the open-source runtime we publish under the Apache License 2.0. The Service is a developer tool. Features, supported language constructs and limits may change over time.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase a paid plan. If a plan requires an account or a checkout email address, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account.

3. Your source code and the generated output

• Ownership. You retain all rights in the Pine Script source code you submit ("Your Code") and in the Python code generated from it ("Output").
• No storage. Your Code is processed in memory for the sole purpose of producing the Output and is then discarded. We do not store, log, sell, or use Your Code or the Output to train models.
• Limited licence to process. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Your Code solely as necessary to operate the Service and return the Output to you.
• Runtime licence. The generated Output is yours to use, including commercially. The runtime library the Output depends on is open source under the Apache License 2.0; if you redistribute the runtime, you must keep its licence and attribution notices.
• Your responsibility. You represent that you have the right to submit Your Code for conversion. You are responsible for reviewing the Output before relying on it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service to infringe intellectual-property or other rights; (b) attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas or access controls, or to probe or disrupt the Service; (c) resell or provide the Service itself to third parties as a competing hosted conversion service without our written permission (using the Output in your own products is fine); or (d) use the Service in violation of applicable law.

5. Not financial advice

The Service translates code. It does not provide investment, trading or financial advice, and the Output is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or asset. Trading involves substantial risk. Any decision you make using the Output is yours alone.

6. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed in advance through our merchant of record, which acts as the seller for payment purposes and handles payment processing, taxes and invoicing.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled. We will give reasonable notice of price changes before they take effect for existing subscribers.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds, where available, are governed by our Refund Policy.
• Free plans may be subject to rate limits and fair-use quotas, which we may adjust to protect the Service.

7. Availability; changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, any specific uptime, or that every Pine Script construct will convert. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, with reasonable notice for material reductions to paid plans.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE AND THE OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. In particular, we do not warrant that the Output is error-free or that it will reproduce any particular trading result.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD 50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR TRADING LOSSES. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 8 and 9) will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date, and, for paid subscribers, by email where practicable. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
