Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data Pine2Py (operated by Ray, "we", "us") collects, why, and what rights you have. The short version: your source code is never stored, we collect as little as possible, and we never sell personal data.
1. What we collect
Your source code — not stored
Pine Script you paste into the converter is transmitted to our servers over an encrypted connection, compiled in memory, and discarded as soon as the conversion result is returned. It is not written to a database, not included in logs, and not used to train models.
Account and billing data
- If you buy a paid plan, our merchant of record collects your payment details and billing information directly. We never receive or store your full card number. We receive your email address, the plan purchased, and a transaction reference so we can provide the plan and support.
- If you contact support, we keep your email and the content of your messages for as long as needed to resolve your request.
Technical and usage data
- Standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, requested URLs, error information), used for security, rate limiting and reliability, kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised.
- Aggregate conversion counters (for example, number of conversions and success/failure counts). These do not include your source code or output.
2. Cookies
We use only cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary for the site and converter to function (for example, security and load balancing). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Third parties we rely on (such as our hosting and payment providers) may set their own strictly necessary cookies on their pages, governed by their policies.
3. How we use data
- To provide the conversion service and paid-plan entitlements.
- To process payments, prevent fraud and enforce rate limits.
- To respond to support requests.
- To keep the service secure and reliable.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data for advertising profiling.
4. Third-party processors
We share the minimum data necessary with service providers that process data on our behalf:
- Hosting provider — serves the website and runs the conversion API.
- Merchant of record / payment processor — processes payments, taxes, invoices and refunds, and acts as seller for billing purposes.
- Email delivery provider — sends transactional email such as receipts and support replies.
These providers process data under their own privacy terms and are only authorised to use it to provide their services to us.
5. Data retention
Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes. Billing records are retained as required by tax and accounting law. Support correspondence is retained until your request is resolved and for a reasonable period afterwards. Your source code is not retained at all.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at ss.leon.c@gmail.com. We respond within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to systems that handle personal data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the limited data we hold.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards under applicable data-protection law.
9. Children
The service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Questions or requests: ss.leon.c@gmail.com.
